Flathead Electric Cooperative is committed to protecting our community and infrastructure by proactively reducing wildfire risk. As part of this commitment, and in alignment with Montana House Bill 490, we are seeking public input on our updated draft Wildfire Mitigation Plan, which outlines our ongoing efforts to manage and reduce wildfire risk.
We invite you to review the draft plan and share your comments during the public comment period: July 24 – September 6, 2025. Your feedback is important and will help shape the final version of the plan.

If you do not see a current job opening that suits your qualifications but are still interested in working at the Co-op, please let us know! For the next year, when an opening occurs for a position you select, we will send you an email inviting you to apply.
Flathead Electric Cooperative is accepting photo submissions for our Annual Members’ Calendar! The calendar will be printed and available for members in November.
Photos submitted should depict wildlife, scenery, people, activities or anything that represents our unique lifestyle and special corner of Northwest Montana. 14 photos will be selected and featured in next year's calendar, as well as our newsletter and social media channels.
To enter, you must be a member of the Co-op and a nonprofessional photographer. Each member may submit up to 6 photos for consideration (each photo must be submitted separately). Please do not submit more than 6 photos as they will be disqualified from consideration.
Photo requirements:
- High resolution photos (300 ppi)
- Horizontal, non-panoramic format
- JPG, TIFF or PNG
Members selected to be featured in the calendar will receive $50 credit on their electric bill, and their name will be published in the calendar, newsletter, and social media channels.
